Rebate for new battery-electric lawn and garden equipment when a working gas equivalent is surrendered.

Published range: $150 to $250

Residents in the South Coast AQMD four-county jurisdiction can receive $150 for eligible equipment priced $250 or less, $200 for equipment priced $251–$400, or $250 for equipment priced $401 or more, toward a new cordless battery-electric lawn mower, leaf blower, chainsaw, or trimmer. The rebate cannot exceed the purchase price. Households may receive at most three rebates, each in a different eligible category. You must turn in a working like-for-like gasoline machine to an approved dismantler. Apply within six months of purchase. Air-district jurisdiction is required and is not stored as county or ZIP geography.
