Up to $4,000 in potential benefit

Published range: $1,500 to $4,000

The standard rebate is $1,500. Households whose LADWP service address is on EZ-SAVE or Lifeline at purchase and through rebate issuance can receive up to $4,000. Purchase before approval is allowed; apply after purchase, generally within 12 months. You do not have to be the LADWP account holder, but the permanent residence must receive LADWP electric service. The vehicle must be on LADWP’s approved used-EV list, at least two model years older than the application calendar year and not older than eight years, registered to the applicant at the service address, and within LADWP’s VIN/prior-rebate limits (including the 24-month wait after a prior rebate on the same VIN). Confirm eligibility before buying. Terms reviewed on the official page remain current as of September 7, 2026.
